To: Miss Hannah Montana

Exams are done (as of noon today) and thank goodness for that! I am very glad to have my life back!

Miss Montana, I have a bit of a bone to pick with you - it goes a little something like "what exactly are you wearing?"!

So you like patterns. And sequins. A lot. However, there's really a much better way to do them. And as lovely as the whole knee socks and kilt thing is, it reminds me a little too much of my school uniform (and that's bad -very, very bad).

Just in case you hadn't noticed, there are rhinestones on those footless tights. And rhinestones and sequins clash (if it's even possible for plastic materials to clash!?). And the whole punk/biker chick thing on the right is all a little too "Claire's" if you ask me (not that you were asking me - you don't even know me!). However, the boots (left) and vest (right) would be OK on their own, I'm thinking. I'll give you props for those (and, yes, I did just say props).

But as much as I like to bash your clothing choices, they're not all heinous (well, let's hope not!). And, secretly (or not so secretly) I love your show (it's a guilt pleasure - what can I say!)

Disney doesn't know how to let it's teen stars embrace trends without wearing them all at once. Her outfits are just way too much!

The vest in the last photo would be appropriately fashionable paired with less. I watch Hannah Montana also, what can I say? Its funny!

I don't mind the school uniform looking one, the rest though are a bit too much.

Cool post. I hate Miley. I really do. The clothes on her performances and the outfits she wears on the street suck, it looks like she put TOO much effort them, lots of make-up, ehrr, fake.

If we're talking about Disney starlets, i prefer Vanessa Hudgens, she's better at dressing (maybe at undressing too because of the nude photos scandal, but that's not my problem =P).

Your post is too true! haha. i would really hope none of her Hannah Montana outfits are her decision, but rather the choice of some higher up executive who thinks he or she knows what "the kids" are wearing these days. what's sad about it is how she'll probably influence waaay too many young girls to throw every so called "trend" into one outfit and step out the door. oh well, youth is wasted on the young!
